This game… I love it when I’m enjoying it and love to hate on it when I’m not, because Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked is both so frustrating and so fun that I can never quite pin down how I feel about it. Despite this title coming from a series of games with decent popularity and an enthusiastic following, the internet seems to have similarly confused feelings on the subject. The all-knowing World Wide Web can provide startlingly little insight into the details of this game; even on the Lost in Blue series’ wiki, the Shipwrecked section is almost barren! The only guide with any semblance of thoroughness is Saint’s Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked FAQ and even that seems to have been abandoned partway into the second half of the game. Despite being incomplete, the guide does a good enough job on the subjects that it does cover and can be very helpful, especially to new players or anyone wanting to know more about the mini-games. To remedy this appalling vacuum in the internet’s encyclopedic collection of useless information, my survival-enthusiast sister and I have committing ourselves to cataloging this wonderful, horrible waste of a good time that we can’t help love-hating.
